Clued-In

Tackling stigma

Clued-In is a leading service-user led training initiative that aims to reduce the stigma and discrimination that people experiencing mental distress face on a day to day basis.

At Clued-In we deliver tailor-made training and educational sessions about a broad range of mental health issues to voluntary, statutory and private sector organisations. We are able to deliver training locally, regionally and nationally.

All of our training sessions are developed and delivered by people who have direct personal experience of mental distress, which ensures that all sessions are powerful, impacting, inspirational, informative and educational.

For the second year running Clued-In have received an award for their innovative work.   The Merseycare NHS Trust Shining Star - Positive Achievement Award 2009, was presented to the team for challenging stigma at a gala ceremony held in St Georges Hall, Liverpool, on Tuesday 21st July 2009.

Vicki Bennett, Clued-In Manager, was delighted to collect the award at the event, which was also attended by three of our Clued-in Consultants, Ita OKeeffe, Catherine Mills and Patricia Stoll.
